BALIKBAYAN BOY
Full-Length / Comedy / 1m
It’s one thing to ship a balikbayan box to your family in the Philippines—it’s another to become one! In this surreal and heartfelt one-person show, a Filipino American actor wakes up to find their body slowly transforming into a cardboard box. Convinced that reconnecting with their heritage and repairing their relationship with Catholicism is the key to stopping and reversing the transformation, they book a one-way flight to the Philippines to immerse themselves in a culture they never truly got to call their own.
Balikbayan Boy is a deeply personal "unpacking" of oneself that asks "how much of who we are is shaped by where we’re from, the culture we inherit, and the spirituality of our ancestors?"

MARBLE THE MUSHROOM WITH SHORTS ON
Short Play / Comedy / 1 any
Marble is a queer mushroom living in the Mycelium Kingdom who is crashing out after the Hypercolor Highway is shut down.
There's yelling, yarn, probably some light crying, and one very cute pair of shorts in this emotional freefall solo meltdown performance.
